She expresses herself like a performance in a way, but that's who Gaga is. Even though it's a performance, it's not simply a fake character she made to fool everyone. It's coming from who she is deeply on the inside, her creation. During the Paparazzi era, she manifested this expression of herself which allowed her to be cute and serious, but most importantly, satirical.
