There's something about the song that makes my mind wander to good memories. Not sure if it's radio friendly, but I would have no problem listening to it in my car. Quartz 12,535 Posted March 11, 2016 Share Posted March 11, 2016 I know that Gaga really pushed for Alejandro as the last single off of TFM and I think it is one of the hugest mistakes she did because DITD has a larger potential to be iconic. Seriously, the melody if that chorus and considering how big she was back then, the weirdness of the song would have worked on her favor. She also could have used the same message about homosexual oppression with the music video. Honestly, that theme even fits DITD better than Alejandro. I guess what's done is done. The only silver lining I see is because of Alejandro being a single, the whole world saw her best choreography ever. I still dance Alejandro to this day.
