Is Adele's "25" era kinda over?

I don't think she even has the time to shoot a MV, she has embarked her gigantic tour. I don't know how she will manage this 105 show tour vocally though!

Singles and videos are released in order to promote the sale of an album, and the sale of tour tickets.

Everyone on the planet bought her album, and her world tour sold out in under 5 minutes.

....Like I'm really failing to see why we're talking like Adele's 25 era was a failure because she hasn't bothered to release another single. There's no point, everyone already bought it.

Somehow from that EXTREME it went down to nowhere. I mean, speaking for myself got tired of listening to "25" anymore. I don't know I got bored too fast. Even "Hello" sounds like it was released years before and not this past October (to be exactly just on my bday :unicorn:).

Um, sis, just because someone releases a new album, it doesn't equal "era", I don't think every new album someone releases is an era. Someone like Gaga though, she does eras, there's a continuous theme throughout the duration of the album that ties it all together, that's an era. Just releasing a an album and a few singles, to me doesn't equal an era. Adele for example doesn't in my opinion do eras. As with so many other people in music their fans like to deem very album as an era. Not everything album is an era.

The campaign def. kind of died, but the problem is that "Hello" was HUGE so regardless of what got released after, it was bound to be overshadowed.

WWWY is pretty much done and over with and video doesn't even seem likely. Also, All I Ask is NOT a good song and people need to stop insisting otherwise.

She could very easily breathe new life into this campaign if she released "water under the bridge" and releases a good video shortly after with some TV promo.

Lol no :laughga:

When We Were Young is gonna slay the charts soon. The video isn't out yet and it's already top 10 in the UK.

Adele is not your typical pop star. She doesn't need to release a music video to reach the top. No matter where you hide your faves, she is gonna come and scalp them effortlessly.

I think 25 has had bad promo post Hello and the album drop. Shes singing songs that are not even singing the singles when she makes appearances. Wear is the music video for WWWY? Shes not really doing any appearances which I think is improtant when promoting music. Especially her kind of music. So yea poor promo

However we will be hearing about it again once grammy season starts

Speaking of the WWWY video, weren't we supposed to get that weeks ago?

I think the concept they were going for was for people to buy the album rather than just singles. It worked. I don't think there will be any more hit singles from the era, sadly. They could have gotten another huge song like Send My Love but they didn't bother promoting any one in particular.

At least we don't have to worry about one of her singles blocking LG5 lead single whenever it comes.

Someday, people will understand that. Adele is the anomaly of all anomalies. I mean she has sold nearly 50M units between two albums (21 and 25). She appeals to everybody and doesn't need multiple hits to sell records.
