One of Donald Trump’s top campaign aides has been accused of grabbing a female reporter during an event and nearly throwing her to the ground.

Michelle Fields, a reporter for Breitbart News and a regular fixture on Fox News and Fox Business, was left with multiple bruises after the incident.

n an article published Thursday on Breitbart, Fields said she was covering a campaign event at the Trump National Golf Club in Florida when the incident occurred.

She said Trump seemed to be in a good mood at the event, as he had just won multiple primaries, and was walking around answering questions from reporters.

So, when Trump approached her, Fields said she asked him a question about affirmative action. Before he could respond, she said she was “jolted backwards.”

“Someone had grabbed me tightly by the arm and yanked me down,” she wrote. “I almost fell to the ground, but was able to maintain my balance. Nonetheless, I was shaken.”

An anonymous witness to the incident told the Daily Beast that Fields was grabbed from behind and was yanked “down toward the ground like a ragdoll.”

Fields wrote that another reporter told her it was Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s campaign manager, who had grabbed her.

Trump and his team's treatment of the media scares me.

If he's president will our media coverage become censored to always paint Trump in a positive light?

I'm not surprised. I keep hearing about things getting violent or borderline so at his rallies and events. He seems to encourage it.

I try to be open toward people having different ideologies as mine, but how anyone sensible can support that man...

^This is the reaction they want.

Fox News is mad their republican establishment candidates are losing so they make up unrecorded, unproveable stories to **** on Trump. They don't want an antiestablishment candidate.

Fox has turned drastically on Trump recently.

Notice how they "allege" a whole bunch of **** with no evidence?

Again...don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Yeah. You keep "hearing" about it. No one ever shows any proof that Trump or his staff do this stuff. Because...he isn't actually like that.

The media is getting so desperate to tear him down, it's obvious. Desperate.

You know they are mad when their only negative press they can come up with at this point is: "allegedly, it could have been, possibly, maybe that a woman got her arm yanked at an event where she could have, but didn't, but COULD HAVE fallen."

D.E.S.P.E.R.A.T.E.

....and then they search for the most random white trash person to interview and then suggest all of Trumps supporters are like that.....lmfao.

I don't think people understand how Trump works or why he is winning so much, but he certainly isn't half as bad as the media portrays him. Obviously people see past the bullshit media and it's making people actually wanna support Trump even more.

I'm going to restrain myself here. I greatly suggest you do some hard research on Trump and things he is actually said and done.

And I understand him just fine, which is why I won't vote for him, and why any of my friends won't either, so no,"the people" aren't buying what he is selling.

Oh, hunny. I never said that at all. I said it wouldn't surprise me if it did happen, because I do hear (as in, read) of people being physically assaulted (by his supporters) and kicked out (by Trump through his security). Encouraging is not the same as actual assault by the individual.

My quote:

"I'm not surprised. I keep hearing about things getting violent or borderline so at his rallies and events. He seems to encourage it. "

Again, please do some actual research on Donald Trump. I'm talking using fact checking sites, reading his speeches, looking at his history, including his business dealings and associations, etc (as I stated in my post that you quoted). Not just the fluff interviews he gives or what his PR agent says. If at the end of all that you chose to still believe that Trump is some "average joe" that never lies, is looking out for the average citizen, and that the media is conspiring to destroy him for...reasons, well, I can't help you there.

I'm very sorry, but I don't have the time or patience to engage in a further discussion on Trump. It's too lovely a day to focus on such an odious con-man. I do hope you are able to enjoy the rest of the day (and I mean that - it's sunny and beautiful here, perfect boating weather on the lake).

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
