Yes- if someone comes to you and says they are raped you should always support them, offer them help, and treat them with kindness. But from a legal standpoint there is no crime, not even rape, where someone should just be 100% believed by the law when they go to report it. And I understand the stats of false reporting is the same as any other crime, so the idea that so many rape accusations now are just false is actually flawed logic, but if you create a system where EVERYBODY who cries rape is instantly believed in the eyes of the law and the person they accuse is instantly deemed guilty, then you create a system with DOES open the door for people to abuse it and make false claims.
