Fernster7 7,922
I love the bridge, it's so beautiful, her vocals are amazing and the instrumental is just perfect. But I agree with the users that think that R. Kelly's version is the best. Monsters never die.
eifulien 2,954
Well it's a musical perfection. It explodes. I wasn't feeling Applause a lot back then. When I heard DWUW I knew Gaga is done with her BTW stuff and is back to the old ways. I didn't stop listening to it on repeat for 2 weeks. Like probably had 400 listens just on my phone. It was the sole song on the playlist queue. (don't drag me I'm just being honest about my opinion back in 2013, it doesn't reflect my feelings today!) . Guest
GAGA slays in every genre! R&B is definitely her thing! I also adore her 'Don't kill my vibe' collab w/ Lamar, velvet chill vocals there!
androiduser 7,438
it sounds really great, but in my opinion it's the most dated sounding song she's ever done... sounds very early 2000s.... and it's too soon to call that retro

Maybe you're confusing its 80s influence with dated sound, because it absolutely doesn't.

NewYorkCity 10,536
Because it is amazing. I mean, look at how far it went without having a video and being a rushed single. Everyone knows this song.If it had been planned better or released in a better time in terms of Gaga's image, it would have been a very very big hit. What About Us 1,499
It just sounds so good. I have two remixes of DWUW on my phone too and I just can't stop listening to it. I also heard a heavy metal version of it and it was amazing! Promise I'll always be there. Promise I'll be the cure.

He's probably the most versatile producer I've ever heard of.
