Yet she put that bitterness aside and accepted his offer for Secretary of State to support him which nobody could believe, but she became a team player, instead of staying a New York senator. And when Obama was up for election and was encountering some trouble, Bill Clinton came out for him when it counted during the election process. The African American community will alway appreciate the Clinton presidency, but also when push came to shove, they showed up for Obama during his presidency and re-election and that won't be forgotten. It wasn't easy for Bill Clinton to do that, I'm sure. He harbored a lot of bitterness for a while over Hillary losing, but came to terms with it.
