I dunno...  Because black people did not come out heavily for John Kerry back in 2004 either!  God that was such a heart-wrenching election!!!  Smh .  But say what you want about Hillary Clinton, she knows that you have to invest time & energy in these different communities in order to get their votes.  Bernie has never had to do that because he is from Vermont!

That's a good explanation. Certainly having her as your Senator is helpful for seeing her up close and personal. How do you feel about the number of times over the years Bernie had been railing in the Senate and House, fighting as the lonely opposition at the time, but ended up being correct later? His speech on repealing Glass-Steagall (click), or on not going into Iraq (click), or on Alan Greenspans flawed economics (click), the list goes on and on. You couldn't find a better warrior on the right side of so many issues, when so many others were not.

The American people just don't watch C-span lol. But in his own home state, he has a 83% approval rating, (highest in the nation). Now that people know who he is, they're learning he's been fighting for them all along.

But you see right there, that's the problem.  Most people (especially older voters) are not going to get online & look up these specifics.  He needs to take a page from Hillary's book on this & say out loud on the debate stage how he will get all this stuff done.  He complained recently that she goes on forever & over the time  allotted to her.  Well that's why...  If I have to go look up a specific thing every time he makes a statement or policy proposal. Then I'm just going to say forget it!

Dude he's explaining the problem with Sanders campaign. I could click on it but it's his job to get the information to me IF he wants me to vote for him. This is his interview for the position so he better come prepared. All these debates and no specific but then want to complain when Hillary gives specifics and eat up time.... at least she's saying something worthwhile.

So what do I tell my mother or any other voter who does not get online or even have the internet?!  Which is the case for many older voters...  Like I said, he needs to say out loud on the debate stage what he will do to get these things done & passed in absolute detail!

You're on the internet right now. The internet is JUST as valid of a method as television or newsprint. The information is whats important. Also, his statement was originally that HE needed more details himself to decide, once provided, that's when he changed to talking about the campaign itself.

You said you needed more information yourself. I was providing it. For your friends and family that don't use the internet, It's okay to answer questions for people when they need them answered, just as people share a newspaper at time, so too can you share the screen of a computer. I use this resource all the time when someone needs clarification. Additionally, he does speak of most of these details in his massively packed speeches. And they must be doing something right as it's caused a number of wins so far.

I don't think you actually want to give Bernie a shot, which is fine, but don't say you want more information and then deflect the information. It's totally okay to just support Hillary if that's where your support lies. I won't begrudge you that.

I pride myself in that I knew of Bernie's wonderful brain a long time ago. I did witness his lonely battle in the senate for years now. I just find him to be a flawed candidate. Hillary has been up against the Republican machine time and time again. That's why so many people hate her; they have effectively maimed her and she still has a fighting chance. 

I could see the Republican machine destroying poor Bernie. He's not a liar nor a fighter aka he's a horrible politician and that's costing him now and would cost him later. Do you doubt for one second that he would have been winning by now if he had attacked Hillary early on? Cuz I don't. This election is too important to lose. He might be willing to lose because of his morals, but I'm not. DEMOCRATS NEED TO WIN!!
