It's about LOYALTY in their eyes... Also Bernie did not expect to make it this far, so he did not go out & campaign early on among the different demographics of the Democratic Party to earn their vote like Hillary did. *shrugs* Egypt. I feel like there would be a thought of "what did you do when you weren't trying to earn votes". I mean, getting arrested multiple times for protesting segregation doesn't seem so casual or flippant to not matter forever. The guy has been about equality his whole life and has continued with those foundations thereafter. Maybe it'll just take some more time and exposure for all people to get to know him better. I agree with Bernie (WAY) more than I agree with Hillary BUT she's represented me as my senator in NY and I've seen her in action. She always sticking her neck out and we've witnessed her do it. Sanders on the other hand has been around for longer than Hillary and yet up until this election cycle we haven't really seen him in action.
