He said it himself today, it don't matter who wins Michigan; the delegates will be split evenly. When Hillary wins, she wins big and that's why she has a pledged delegate lead. Also, Republican voter turnout is much larger than the Democratic turnout. Trump is a phenomenon. Who will be able to stop him? Clinton? Sanders? So at least he's showing progress. He's earned more of the African-American vote here than any previous contest. Trending progress looks promising. People are learning who Bernie is! Once again, it's not the states that are won but HOW big were the margins by which it was won. When Hillary wins states that favor her (yes, the south) she wins by a lot and since delegates are awarded proportional to votes she wins a larger share than Bernie. When Bernie wins a state, he is so close to Hillary's numbers that they split the total. So if this continues, he'll share half the delegates of the states he wins while Hillary wins more than half of the states she wins and that adds up to a Hillary win in the end. I think this user is speaking about the general. Hillary WILL be the nominee. But the Democratic vote in the South becomes less relevant in the general election. I think that's what they're saying. Well being black myself I can tell you I only know of a couple of black people who are checking for Bernie Sanders! My mother told me she goes in the kitchen when he comes on tv. And this narrative that Hillary is only winning states that will not matter come the general. Well so did Barack Obama back in 2008 primary & he went on to win the nomination of course! Egypt.
