Just to clarify, are you referring to former Secretary of State, former United States Senator, and former First Lady of the United States Hillary Clinton? Is that the Clinton you're referring to as mediocre? Seriously though these election threads are so much more interesting when it isn't just bitter ideologues posting about how their opponents are terrible. x1000 Maybe it'll be better tonight as the results start coming in. Voltaire 4,531
I surely hope that Michigan will pick character over corruption, regardless of how legal it currently is. Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker

Her debate performance in Flint was embarrassing, especially in response to fracking. But who knows But he is getting the most flack online & in the news media for some of the stuff he said the other night. Like ghetto & whites not being poor, his auto bail out vote & waving his finger & being condescending to her during the debate! Not good news to have the day before the MICHIGAN election... P. S. You're cute btw! Egypt. W

PoshLife 17,019
They both did fine in the debate and they both did fine in the Fox News town hall, as a matter of fact. You have to be viewing things through a pretty distorted lens to think otherwise. Bernie didn't do enough to push the needle in his direction; Hillary didn't have any unforced errors that ceded any ground. I don't think there will be any surprises tonight, at least not on the Democratic side.

I don't think there will be any surprises tonight, at least not on the Democratic side. I do think they both did a good job in their own distinct styles. Hillary continued to be Hillary. Bernie continued to be Bernie. At this stage, they have opposing trend lines. As voters learn of Bernie, his support increases. As voters learn of Hillary, it often decreases. At this stage, a debate or town hall isn't about one of them f-ing up, its about voters getting a first chance to learn of Bernie's positions- as television viewers have less exposure to him. Many are worried about, as President Carter put it, America being an "Oligarchy" and not a representative democracy. When voters have an alternative to Oligarchy, through Bernie, it's an opportunity that many want to take regardless of political affiliation. I'm hoping for a win for Bernie, because this really isn't about B vs. H. It's about representative democracy vs. oligarchy.
