All the secrecy and the silent videos on Snapchat/Instagram of her playing music really killed any hype that was left for me. I remember when I was waiting for ARTPOP, I could not wait until I heard some news. But this time, it's just different. I don't know if it was the goal to make a surprise release later, but what she said yesterday didn't make it sound like she knows where to go with this album. Sorcerer 12,507 Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 For me, the root is that the mini-blackout and slight decline caused out so many LMs to hype so much about everything, that like Gaga said, it turned out that everything became cryptic. And technically, every LM accommodated bandwagon and joined in with the hype. So it became huger. We must wait, thus, lesser hype for us right now. I didn't expect her to say something like "Hey guys! my new single is coming next month and it's the best" but I really wish she could say something like "I enjoy working on my new music and can't wait for you to hear it!
