The song received mixed reviews, there have been quite a proportion of negative comments on this song by the GP. Rihanna barely promotes it besides performing the song at the Brits. The only promotion is the video itself and for some reason, people are NOT interested in Gaga's videos in comparison with Katy and Rihanna's no matter how much effort Gaga puts into shooting hers. It's not that I hate her metaphors, but I do hope she tones down with her analogies a bit. It's not totally a bad thing to make straightforward easy-to-relate songs.
