For the gp the song seemed quite controversial at first listen which is why it weren't played much on radio here I dont know about elsewhere but gaga was so popular at the time that she could get away with releasing a controversial song and still manage to make it chart high in every country. If it had different lyrics and a different message the song could have been one of the biggest of all time but that wasn't the point she still drew loads of attention from the release of Judas.
