yep, she chose this song because she and Esther Yu made a promise that they'll be in the same team :rip: NINEONE and Frhanm are in the other group for this song too

BTW I started learning Korean using Duolingo a week or two ago. First I had to learn the alphabet, which took some memorization but now I can read Korean (even if I don't understand the words I'm reading lol). Then it taught some grammar (Korean grammar is definitely unique, though it does rely on a lot of particles like Japanese which I know a fair amount of), which I found really boring because it was teaching it using really unimportant words I didn't want to learn (it was teaching me phrases like "The woman is not charming" and "there is no road in the ocean" :smh: ) , but finally today it started teaching me actual useful things like how to say hello, thank you, sorry, etc. So hopefully it gets better and I can stick with it.

I learned some Korean phrases when I went there back in 2015 but it didn't really stay with me at all except hello and thank you. I'd love to be able to travel there on my own someday ("where is the bathroom?" "What time is the train?" etc) and also be able to talk about music in Korean.

Is there anything more iconic than Perfume posting a dance tutorial for Tokyo Girl in seventeen segments

I started Korean on Duolingo last summer and the first few lessons were definitely, questionable :selena: I should probably start again, since I have more free time now due to quarantine

LOL I'm so glad someone else has experienced this. Basics 1 and Basics 2 were so weird. I also like how it really wanted us to know the names of all of Korea's soccer clubs.

That's why I finally started learning it, cuz I have so much downtime lately - though I'm already like a month into learning Chinese so adding Korean on top of that was probably unwise.

if you need any help with Chinese, just let me know :poot: Chinese grammar is pretty straightforward though, it's just the characters that are hard

Thanks! Yeah it's really just a matter of memorizing all the characters. I thought it would be harder learning a tonal language, but other than the app not really hearing me correctly sometimes it hasn't been too bad. I'm enjoying it so far.

I’m gonna ask this question bc I’m too scared to make a thread about it on the popular Kpop forums

astro is my ult group been a stan since they started promoting their debut

eunwoo is arguably one of the most famous idols in Korea for his visuals. Literally has been called the most handsome idol ever multiple times etc.

why aren’t Astro bigger than

like they’re not doing horrible their last mini album currently sold 119k. Blue flame charted 95 on melon.

when eunwoo got more famous I thought we would be getting an aoa situation but I guess not

hoping they’re upcoming comeback is finally their breakthrough as a group!
