Ahahahahahahahaha

Lemme explain: Aguinaldo Silva (the author of Senhora do Destino) is best known for his telenovelas that can be placed under the "magic realism genre", where fantastical events take place and aren't something out of the ordinary. It was mostly used when Brazil was under a dictatorship as a way to implicitly criticize the government. But when his latest telenovela of this genre flopped (Porto dos Milagres - 2001) he decided it was time to change things up and write realistic telenovelas (meaning as much realistic as telenovelas can be). And that's when Senhora do Destino came to life and became the most successful telenovela of the decade. Now, more than 10 years later, the public is getting bored of realistic dramas and he decided he'll go back to write magic realism. After seeing how popular this character became worldwide during last year he allegedly decided to bring her back. Senhora do Destino ends without telling you if she died after jumping off the bridge. So, she could have survived and that's why she's back or be dead and either be seen as a ghost or resurrected by the new villain. Since it's magic realism everything is possible I think.

They look fine in this picture, tho... Well... most of them. Even though I don't think they looked bad in the other picture either.

Rumor has it that the iconic confused blonde/math lady will have a comeback next year. It's unclear tho if she'll be a ghost or a real person since the last time she was seen, she was jumping off a bridge after having kidnapped a newborn baby girl.

I saw that :rip: I heard someone was going to ressurect her, bc it's supposed to be a novela with supernatural themes or smth  :rip:

If she comes back I hope they don't [posh] kinda ruin [/posh] the character for everyone, bc she's iconic and so is her suicide scene :legend:

She kidnaps the baby, the family goes after her then she stops on the edge of the bridge, sort of redeems herself by giving the baby back to their mother and jumps :emma: At least that's how I remember it
