Like, ask me how hyped I am right now about all the groups I stan for that haven't dropped a single in a year and a half. On the other hand LOONA fans get something new every few weeks(?), and the company has actually put effort into their concepts and how everything fits together. (Edit to add: and there's always fansigns and stuff with every new release, so there's a lot of opportunity for interaction compared with other groups) I'm not a fan personally (for the same reason as you - I haven't found a song I think is really good), but it's refreshing and I hope it sets a new standard for consistency. My favourite so far is JinSoul's single "Singing in the Rain" But I love all of their songs others I'd recommend would be Yves' "new", Choerry's "Love Cherry Motion" and "Love Letter" (which is the B-side of JinSoul's single, a duet with Kim Lip). Every song is different in style/genre, so some (or even all) might not be to your taste. In general, though: Members 1-5 (HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul, YeoJin and ViVi) aka their sub-unit LOOΠΔ 1/3 are the more "pure" girls. Their songs are often more ballad-y, innocent, "cute" pop. Members 6-8 (Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry) aka their sub-unit ODD EYE CIRCLE are the "girl crush" girls. Their songs are more pop-y, electronic I guess? And members 9-12 (Yves, Chuu, Go Won and ???, sub-unit name also unknown) also have a different sound. I'm not really sure what to describe it as though Again, each month's release is a bit different. I think most of the hype is because we are finally getting to the end of LOOΠΔ's pre-debut project. We've been introduced to 11 members, 2 sub-units, had 15 main music videos with countless other special music videos and we're almost at the point where the 12 girls will become one group. We've seen both sub-units perform on music shows with their debut mini albums (along with their re-packages), however solos have not been promoted. LOOΠΔ's company, BlockBerry Creative, have also been very good to International fans - providing official English translations across all social media, from Tweets and Instagram posts, music video lyrics and LOOΠΔ TV. LOOΠΔ TV is a series of short (less than 1 minute) clips showing behind the scenes of the project - looking at each photoshoot, how the music videos were made etc. It's also like a mini reality show, as the girls often play around and just have fun in general whilst they are in-between shoots.
