RadioIsOurs 13,873
From the wiki page, I saw that it only peaked at 29 in the Hot 100 . But from what I remembered, it was pretty big in Asia! It peaked at no. 6 in Japan and no. 2 in Korea, and western songs don't even usually chart in the top 10 of these countries... From where I live, I also saw plenty of adverts of this song and music video on my tv (I think it was for 4), and there was a parody video that was also a pretty big hit, at least based on where I live.. So why didn't it become a mega hit in the US or even in the UK though, considering it was the lead single of her highly successful album?

Its a bit too harsh sounding for radio but that's why I like it

The hook and message was pretty 'revolutionary' for where I live. Guess feminism hadn't reached here yet...

Songs like the boy does nothing by alesha Dixon were big. I think the sound of the song was a bit too ott for uk taste I like it tho
