I think that's a trend we'll continue to see; Bernie winning some states that have relatively few delegates, like Kansas and Maine, but by a thinner margin than the larger states that Hillary will win by wider margins. So I do think it will be difficult, though not impossible yet, for Bernie to catch up. The superdelegates likely put the nomination out of his reach unless he can win more of them over. PoshLife 17,019 Posted March 6, 2016 Share Posted March 6, 2016 I expect Trump to win Kentucky, as he was up by about 15 in the most recent poll. He's also expected to win Louisiana pretty big, too. No clue on how Maine will play out. So either he splits today's four states with Cruz 2-2 or comes out ahead 3-1. Either way it's not a bad position for Trump to be in given the fact that he didn't have a good week (not a great debate performance, lots of negative press, Christie awkwardness, more attacks and Oppo research like Trump University, etc.) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

God, I'm beginning to hate the word "establishment" Trump on the other hand doesn't care and would try to go through with his ideas. Although they would most likely fail. I think that if Trump became president, he would become the first president removed from office. Cruz, imo, is more dangerous because he'd be able to stay in office and inflict real damage. I haven't really seen it mentioned. It's not even on Politico's schedule. It's probably a function of the fact that "nobody cares about Puerto Rico," it doesn't have that many delegates (though it's the same number as New Hampshire), and the fact that it would be hard to get reporters out there to get footage and such (relative to continental states). Yeah he'll probably win Nebraska too. Kansas (and I think Nebraska too) award their delegates proportionally, so it will be interesting to see whether he wins by a lot or by a little.
