So RIAA updated Gaga's single certifications recently, and I assume that they are going to do the same for her albums, since it would seem reasonable. ARTPOP should have been gold for a long time, having sold 746,000, as reported by Billboard last year.

With the new rules:

- Each permanent digital album or physical album sale count as 1 Unit for certification purposes.

746,000

10 permanent track downloads from the album count as 1 Unit for certification purposes.

Applause - 2,580,000/10 = 258,000

Do What U Want - 1,220,000/10 = 122,000

- 1,500 on-demand audio and/or video streams from the album count as 1 Unit for certification purposes.

(I don't know, lmao).

746,000 + 258,000 + 122,000 = 1,126,000, over the 1,000,000 requirement!

I would do the same for CTC to see where it stand but no single sales, I'm also unsure about how spotify and YT streams come into play. Like would all of the Spotify streams count for the US?

I want to know what's going to happen to The Fame - PF 10x PF alone adds one million to The Fame. Then there is LG 3x, JD 8x, Starstruck Gold, Paparazzi 4x, Eh Eh Gold, BDR Gold. It's like 2 possibly 3 more certifications.

And what about TFM

Bad Romance - 11x, Telephone - 3x, Alejandro - 2x, Yoü & I - 3x

one or 2 more certifications

BTW album  one more certification.

Born This Way - 4x
The Edge Of Glory - 3x
Judas - 2x
Marry The Night - Gold

ARTPOP only one platinum certification. Maybe two depending on the streaming of the rest of the songs on the album.
Applause - 3x, DWUW - 1x

CTC Sales

710k

CTC Deluxe Spotify Streams

31,332,366/15,000 = 20,888.224 or 20,888 units

So a total of around 730k, no chance for that :rip:

ARTPOP is 100% going Platinum when the update it. C2C will go platinum when LG5 drops and the bandwagon fans decide to check her entire discography

Let's assume that the songs and albums sold exactly what the certification requires.

The Fame

Just Dance - 800,000

Poker Face - 1,000,000

Eh, Eh - 50,000

BDR - 50,000

Starstruck - 50,000

LoveGame - 300,000

Paparazzi - 400,000

Total: 2,650,000, or 2x platinum, a total of 5x platinum

The Fame Monster

Bad Romance - 1,100,000

Telephone - 300,000

Alejandro - 200,000

Total - 1,600,000, or platinum, a total of 2x platinum

Born This Way

Born This Way - 400,000

Judas - 200,000

The Edge of Glory - 300,000

You and I - 300,000

Marry the Night - 50,000

Total - 1,250,000, or platinum, so a total of 3x platinum

The RIAA rule (of dividing by 10) is already applied to the tracks above.

These are already divided by 10, the RIAA rule. So I just took what they would consider, because they don't count whole track sales.
