Katich and Trump are the only moderates on either side.

It's sad, but IF I were to vote for the republican party, I'd vote strictly based on how sane I think they are. 
While Trump is 'moderate' the guy is completely out of touch with reality. Between the top three republicans (Cruz, Trump, and Rubio), I'd pick Rubio even though he is the least of the three evils. 

I'm a democrat and stick with Bernie all the way, but when I talk about Rubio, it's strictly an 'if I was a republican' type deal. Hope that clarifies things.

I’m lucky enough to have seen those accomplishments up close from her time as Senator from New York and as Secretary of State. She fought tooth and nail to protect the first responders who rushed into danger when the towers collapsed and was pivotal in the passage of legislation that helped those first responders who got sick get the care and treatment they deserved. She worked night and day to protect and create jobs in New York, whether that was at the Niagara Falls Air Force base or the Center for Bioinformatics at the University of Buffalo. She also led the charge on the Lilly Ledbetter Pay Equity Act, which is now the law of the land.

As Secretary of State, Secretary Clinton was not only inspirational figure for billions of women around the globe, she also did much to restore the shattered credibility of the United States, which had lost so much influence following the failed foreign policies of the previous administration. She negotiated the cease-fire in Gaza that stopped the Hamas from firing rocket after rocket into Israel. She helped secure the START treaty’s ratification, and has advanced women’s rights in countries around the globe. That’s just a snapshot of what Hillary Clinton has accomplished over a lifetime of public service to New York and the country. If you really want to stump a Democrat, you should ask them which of Hillary’s accomplishments is your favorite—there are too many to choose from

Alrighty. So she helped negotiate an awful cease-fire that lasted a matter of months. Cool. She helped secure the START treaty, look at the growing number of countries that are still militarizing at an alarming rate (North Korea, Iran, etc.). And she ambiguously helped women's rights around the world (no specifics? Really?). K. The Clinton Foundation has received hundred of thousands (if not millions by now) from countries and mid east regimes that to this day execute woman or publicly beat them from things like adultery or pre marital sex. Are you really going to sit here and try to tell me HRC is a champion of women?

Might I add to all this, some first responders STILL haven't received the help they need after 9/11. What a great accomplishment, Hillary...

So I'm still waiting. What is your favorite accomplishment of Hillary's? Try not to use google and copy/paste this time. If there are so many, you should have no trouble rattling off a few.

I'd say for me it's not any one accomplishment

I find her relationships with other world leaders to be very crucial to our future with other countries. As much as we wouldn't like to know it, our relations with other countries are very much dependent on how well those individuals interact. I'm personally very happy with the way Obama has run our country for the past 8 years and really look to maintain that status quo, and that's how Hillary positions herself. There's a sense of security knowing what I'm going to get with Hillary as a president, I've seen her in action since I was born and haven't been able to fault her for much. Do I think she's the best candidate in all the land to be our next president? No. She's close though and certainly a better candidate than the others running.

It's not because of their policies (and tbh, Trump is actually pretty liberal compared to some other republicans, it's something he's gotten flack for in the past), I want a president I can trust to tell me the truth and those two are the ones who I believe will be the most open and honest about what they're doing and what they want to do.

I choose Bernie first because I actually like some of his ideas and I think he'll actually be able to implement them. I choose Trump second because I don't think he'll be able to pass his more extreme ideas (like a temp ban on Muslims coming into the US), but I do believe he'd be able to get america out of the red by making a balanced budget and by changing our trade stance with China (through tariffs and labeling China as a currency manipulator) and Mexico, and he'd deal with illegal immigration in a way that would actually accomplish something. A lot of people underestimate Trump's bargaining and negotiating skills, I mean, he didn't get to where he is by offending every single person he's ever worked with uk. (but I'm definitely not a fan of the crude rhetoric that's popped up).

After the stunts Hillary pulled with Benghazi and her emails.. I couldn't trust her when it comes to foreign policy and I already don't trust her to tell the truth so she's a non-starter for me.

The other republican candidates are essentially more of the same that we've seen since Obama came into office and I'm not looking for more of that.

If Hilary wins we'll be in trouble. If Trump wins we'll be in trouble, but really not as much. i think everyone should realize  these are our options.

Trump is very blunt but smart to a certain extent, but Hilary is a just a liar.

Trump is either smart and the person in the race who lies the most, or stupid and an honest person. No inbetween  

What it comes down to, is his vision of the US. His vision isn't smart but that could've been done on purpose to attract the lowly (among Republicans, people who don't gote and also Democrats).

Hillary's relations with other world leaders? That's her strong point? Considering the U.S. is one of the least respected countries in the world right now and most world leaders think they can walk all over the U.S. I would say she has done a pretty embarrassing job.

And how Hillary positions herself? Hasn't she changed her position on everything from foreign policy to gay rights multiple times in the last decade? Like....no one truly knows one thing she has stood for in the entirety of her career. Not one thing. 

 

I just find Hillary to be a panderer. I also think it's obvious she hops on whatever social issue is convenient. Which in turn is not showing leadership. She follows and her actions have repeatedly shown that, whether you are a democrat or a republican.

At least Trump is honest and you know he actually believes what he says...even if it's a bit crass. He's also a moderate in terms of alot of things. If you remove his "extremist" image and just look at the issues, Trump is kind of independent of any establishment policy. Very independent and a record to prove it.
