Well, it's kind of a ballad, those are doing well atm, and it's very in sync with what's trendy right now...but if she's going to use a ballad as single "Close to you" is a much better song...

Bey doesn't need a #1 single, while Rihco's career relys on it. The Navy is so DELUSIONAL. None of Rihanna's singles have even had impact while Bey has several iconic #1 singles that are still remembered today.

The only reason why Work went #1 is because she twerked amd grinded on Drake, and ditched her "artistic" vision to go back to her safe and dry island sound. 

 

And Work isn't moving any albums on tour tickets LOL.

Kinda...it's slow paced and not that danceable, so I tend to think of it as a ballad...but yeah, maybe it's too "urban" to be considered a ballad...

"Close to you" has better lyrics and a more "accessible" production, I think.
I love LOTB, can't stand Never Ending...
