Rino 5,120
From Monster's page on Wikipedia: "In an interview with MTV News, Gaga said that "Monster" describes her fear of sex and relationships and the literal meaning is about a "guy with a big diсk". She elaborated, "It's the fear of attachment and the fear of loving something that's bad for you... If you listen to the lyrics, it's like being in love with the bad boy all the time, and you keep going back for more." Gaga added that the fear in "Monster" erupted from her need to have a stable relationship. "I keep falling in love with the monster... But what I really need is the security and the safety and the womanhood, responsibility of my femininity. And so that's what that song is about." "guy with a big diсk" 月にかわって、おしおきよ!🌙

Rino 5,120
from my post above, it doesn't seem like she is talking about a rapist. just a guy who had a bad influence on her or something (and allegedly with big genitals ). 月にかわって、おしおきよ!🌙

"guy with a big diсk" Interesting, but it's not like she was going to tell the truth about the lyrics then anyway. If it's a coverup then it is a clever one in Gaga fashion. I can't imagine someone being in love with their rapist unless it's a Stockholm syndrome diagnosed person 月にかわって、おしおきよ!🌙

Just because you are married or dating does not mean you give your consent. Currently listening to Joanne

So yes, someone could be in love with their rapist. oh, I get it. but I still don't think this was a case with Gaga. if I recall correctly, in 2014 interview with Howard Stern Gaga said that she met abusive behaviour from male executives in music business. it has to be that thing that was her personal experience with rape, unless, of course, it happened to her not only once, but multiple times (in which case it's just plain terrible ). 月にかわって、おしおきよ!🌙
Stephen 30,423
No, those songs are about Lüc. She didn't even hint at her sexual assault until late 2011. She said it herself that it took her a while to admit that it even happened.

This, plus the parts of the songs are more about having sex and feeling bad about it for some reason (emotions, insecurities) but not a rape. At least it always felt obvious to me. i love how everyone said 'meh' when tihty was released but after oscars treat it like a song of a millennium
