My predictions:

Hillary wins Louisiana, Michigan, and Mississippi

Sanders wins Kansas

I have no idea about the others. How do the Democrats Abroad even pick their delegates :rip:

The other states haven't been polled recently. Based on geography alone I guess I'd say Sanders wins Kansas, Nebraska, and Maine. But that's literally based on NOTHING but where the states are in the country haha

Just curious, why'd you give Clinton Michian? Does she poll well there?

Bernie won all the blue states usually during a general election while Clinton won in the red states.

Interesting.

Yeah she's up by 20% in Public Policy Polling's latest poll. Their polling was very accurate for tonight's races, but I don't think she'll win by that much.

Some surprises. Clinton's firewall held firm. Huge wins in the South, but with only a few states left to secure a lead in the South, I expect her head start deminish in the coming weeks. I'm still confused why the South votes first in these contests when they are not loyal in the general. This Super Tuesday was fascinating. I can't wait to see how things shape out, but I still want to say that the demographic shifts to more rural and whiter territory. Anyways, fingers crossed that Bernie begins to trend upwards as his opponent plateaus.

Again, Bernie supporters should exercise caution because punditry will be in full swing until the tides change. Media WILL spin this as doomsday. But the longer he stays in, the more exposer his message gets. And exposer increases the likelihood that his message hits the target audience it needs to.

Tonight's results are what you make of them: I saw my candidate survive his biggest hurdle. The horizon is near, and I'm feeling the bern.

Same, I'm feeling the Bern too. There's 35 more states and a few months of time left. Bernie can do this if he plays right.

Tomorrow will be the US primary elections huge deciding favor, Super Tuesday. With Trump and Clinton currently ruling the race outsiders like Ben Carson could be dropping out quickly. Be sure to vote in your states primaries if the are tomorrow (preferably Bernie) and stay turns for updates post here. You may post your own updates as they come since I won't be on all day.

I wanted to vote for Bernie today but I didn't realize the deadline to register was so early

Spoiler

not that my vote would have done much for good ol' Bern, I live in Texas :flop:

I'm SO SO SO glad Bernie won Colorado though, it's a major swing state and if he can continue to carry more swing states in the future, he could easily secure the nomination.

I have to get to bed. Thanks for spending time with me tonight! It was fun having a good group (with diverse preferences!) to watch and analyze the returns with.

Let's reconvene on Friday to find out what the heck happens in Nebraska.

I need to move to the Northeast. Kasich is doing well there and so is Bernie. Clearly more like-minded people up there.

Lots of white people in many of the states Bernie does well in.
