Do I need to say it again? 

Clearly I do.

Did I want Gaga to win? Yes. Am I salty? For today and tomorrow and probably good amount of Wednesday, yes I am.
But that is NOTHING compared to the disappointment and outrage I feel over his emberassing acceptance speech.

I also understand that people change, and maybe Sam does want to represent, GREAT, but that's a load of BS when you don't even know who Elton John or Dustin Lance Black are, or that the former winner of. Dustin Won in 2008, Elton in 1994, it's a google search away.

This is not about Gaga losing the Oscar at all. When Sam won all those Grammys last year I wasn't going to "step back and say a well done regardless of the outcome and my preference." Maybe if I saw him in person I would say "Good job Sam" to be courteous but I am never going to see him in my life. I am under no obligation to feel anything about him. When someone like you comes along and says "congratulate him and stop feeling disappointed about your favorite artist losing an Oscar because only then will you be considered a mature human being" I would naturally be quite irritated at you. That's all.

I see uour point but again the fact that he can educate himself and become a more sophisticated supporter of the LGBT rights doesn't take his right of winning away or the fact that people need to respect the outcome regardless of their opinion. And don't take the fact that he supported gay rights in public lightly when there are so many people in the world that hate to death everything different.

Judging the outcome is different to respecting th eoutcome though. I didn't ask you not judge, you wouldn't be a human at all, actually people need to judge. Respecting is a completely different thing though. Where you a Lady Gaga fan when she won all these Grammys back then in 2011> If you were you will remember what lack of respect of the artist means.

Sam won because of the Bond franchise, his song is empty and stand for nothing. He doesn't have much merit.

It's only the second time in 24 James Bod films that the theme gets the Oscar though. (I agree that it's not the best Bond soundtrack but this has nothing to do with the facts)

The guy just made it, he sang a Bond theme and won the Oscar. Think of it, he is a very big Lady Gaga fan (like most of us in here) and yesterday he won an Oscar over her.

Edit: You don't have to agree with the decision of the Academy (I don't agree either) to be respectful towards an artist that managed to succeed. Grow up.

I agree I totally understand Little monsters are upset she didn't win but hate the Academy not the artist for winning. Since Sam Smith is a little monster I think it's wrong everyone is dragging him. If I was Sam Smith I would be bawling knowing that the fan base I am a part of hates me  it's not right just think logically about it. Love you all!!! <3

I am voicing the same opinion but actually I am not gonna waste my time to give sense to people that complain over a lipstic or a wig but I did try to put some sense to people that hate someone for achieving his dreams on the forum of LADY GAGA. It's such an irony.

Sam has a right to win, yes...but people in the world have no obligation to respect he outcome. How can you not understand that?

THey do though, the same way they have the obligation to respect the fact that some poeple like the same and not the oppossite sex. They don't have the obligation to agree with it or like it but they have the obligation to respect it. I thought people in here would know better, lol.
