It is very sad you want to do something to help and simply have nothing. :ohno:

He should give his Oscar to Gaga+Warren. Writing's On The Wall is the ugliest song winner since...

who knows?

20 YEARS?

They didn't, obviously. WOTW is literally the worst song among the nominees.

Unfortunately, the awards are becoming a **** now.

Writings is a more well known song. Gaga tried to promote it at some Oscar events lately, but it seems it was not enough. It also didnt help that Till it happens to you didnt won anywhere, so probably Academy members believed that just the nomination is enough a recognition for the song.

I think because he won the Golden Globe it was easy for them to chose Writings on the wall instead of a song that wasn't nominated.

But this was very unfair, the song is of a documentary, there are several rules that exclude documentary songs. Oscar could have open an exception since the theme was very IMPORTANT.

Sam and Wiz were the only ones indicated who attended to Golden Globe. Another injustice.

Sam had the commercial success which would sway some voters and also works well for the people who don't really care for the category because they'll vote for the song they know best. The fact that Adele won with her Bond theme probably also helped.

Did a song that was named 'the worst ever bond theme song' deserve to win? Quite frankly, no, but it did, and we can't change that.

Despite winning the Oscar, Sam has been nothing but dragged and told he didn't deserve to win. Despite not winning the Oscar, Diane and Gaga have been nothing but praised and told they did. I think I know which position I would rather be in!

I read a comment from an article that "perhaps Gaga's campaigning/private performances turned off the voting committee" or something like that.

:crossed:

If you find this article, you can send me? Thank you.

No one (literally, no one) seems to care or be happy about it. The backlash he's receiving is enormous. What's the meaning of the award, if you don't have people's support, like Gaga is having right now?

That statement is just ignorant of the whole process. The movies that are vying for next year's Oscars are already in the midst of their campaign for a YEAR FROM NOW!

A campaign for an Oscar nomination is a long process and one that everyone knows is typical and necessary.
