I think she didn't really care so much this time, cause she "co-wrote" the song

and the intention of the song was not for award, it's successfully brought the issue to public attention, so her mission was accomplished

yeah yeah sure :lolga:

no more parties in LA

Lord Temptation

She knew it was going to happen. The look in her eye says she knows she would be betrayed.

If I was her I would have got my bag and just stormed out or run up on stage and stole the award that was rightfully mine

Bloody

It's the most normal thing in the world to be sad for it.

She's trying to look happy, but inside her you can see that she's sad. Who wouldn't be.

I wasn't nominated and I couldn't sleep after that award slipped by her all the sites that predicted she will win predicted 90% of the winners today and whether a small documentary or not that song is the type of song that gets u an Oscar, she has to be sad she really worked for it! If u ask my sincere opinion I will say that stuff was changed just before the show

I thought she was gracious in defeat. Didn't look bitter, sad at all.

Anyhow, the issue is now being talked about and it's all over the media. The song has won in terms of it's impact. That message and the amount of educating that's been done to the youth of today is worth more than a thousand little gold statues.
