I don't know but I feel like she's going to sing like in the 2nd version of TIHTU, the unreleased one with her delicate vocals

I don't think they are the same. I hear "DopeGa" vocals only in the Dope song. I don't hear them in TIHTY.

If you're talking about her deep vocals, she used them in Bad Romance (both studio and live) and I Want Your Love, for example, but since those are dance songs no one seems to care.

I think it is the somber nature that puts people off regarding the Dope voice. They're not just deep, but somewhat slurred and the emotion doesn't seem to come out naturally. It seems like she's paying the role of an intoxicated broken heart.
Which is strange, because that mindset and the things she's singing about are very serious to her. I'm sure it IS coming from the heart, but the way that it comes out on stage doesn't genuinely do it justice, in my opinion.

I do appreciate how Gaga does give us diversity in terms of how she uses her voice. Even though I don't like the Dope voice, or the vocals used in TIHTY, I like that Gaga's not a one-trick pony in any area of her career. Not many other big artists can say that.

I don't think it's fair from fans to call her emotions/vocals forced or fake, when they know the topic she's singing about and how it relates to her...

There is some slurring in Dope, I don't hear it in TIHTY, but both are about very serious and emotional topics...but some fans even hear "DopeGa" in National Anthem, I don't get it.

Oh no, I agree. I said in my post that I am sure the emotions/vocals do come from the heart, it's just that the sound itself doesn't come off that way (even though I know the honesty is there).

And I also don't see how people hear DopeGa in the National Anthem. It's like they're trying to label anything sung in a low, serious voice as the Dope Voice. TIHTY certainly has it's own sound, but it's quite similar to the Dope voice to the point where I can see how it'd be labeled the same, though.

She sounds incredible on Dope :applause: You guys mixing up the creation Dope and feeling of this song and her voice on it. Gaga give us a soulful dancefloor anthem with your dark voice like in Dope or Till ... :sara: Then they will understand

btw:Dope is one of the best on ARTPOP..
