While I do think the "Do What U Want" video is out-there, the message behind it is not the same as what she's trying to say with "Til It Happens To You"—or her whole stance on Kesha's legal battle. "Do What U Want" is about letting an artist be an artists, that they're not going to sell themselves to big corporations to try to please them. "Til It Happens To You" is about rape and letting people know that you'll never experience what they're going through until it 'happens to you'.
