ShockPop 7,747
No. Not in the slightest. She is a long running joke in the industry. What is there to respect her for? She used to be an ok (but not good) dancer? Her management chose good songs sometimes? The person that Sings in her albums doesn't suck as much as she does? She had a breakdown that was 80% her own dumb fault? She is an icon of all that's wrong with the music industry? Failing to see any positives. Everyone talks about it but idk what caused it..
Red 97,985
It's not like she's not respected, it's more like she's not... disrespected If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
Raikou 1,169
I've never heard a soul outside of pop music fans say a good word about Britney Spears. (I love her FYI)

Yeah, haters gonna hate whoever you are, it's 2016 and people only troll on the internet but it's not like people are constantly bashing her 24/7 nor praising her 24/7 outside of the pop fan culture. The GP knows she exists, she is doing her thing, GP is doing its thing and they are all eating rainbow cakes. Also, Gaga wasn't calling out Britney, she was calling out everyone that lipsyncs, she LOVES Brit. Besides, you can't really use pop divas as a parameter for anything. Britney did nothing. Just a vessel for cash. She never really "came back" and she caused the breakdown herself. If she wasn't on drugs she wouldn't have risked losing her kids and wouldn't have had to shave her head to avoid drug testing. Her hits are few and far between and ultimately mean nothing to the industry. She didn't change the industry in any way. What's worse is that she wasn't in control of anything. She was a marketing gimmick and that's all. Kudos to her management for making money.
