They were neck and neck, on the overall artist chart Ariana was #11 and Selena was #12. But keep in mind Billboard year runs from November to November. So Ariana got most of Love Me Harder into Billboard's 2015 year and Selena's Same Old Loved didn't see the majority of its success in Billboard 2015 year. Ariana's tour helped her in 2015, and Selena's will help her in 2016. So look for Selena in the 2016 year end charts. She'll be present.

Her success was split between 2006 and 2007, since the Billboard year starts in mid November. So...

yea, because touring is a factor, i think it worked against her

Billboard keeps track of tours as well, they don't do it online, but i subscribe to the magazine and they do it there. but they just add up how much each artist made from tours in total every year. But Nelly is definitely a fixture of the second half of 2006 and the first half of 2007. That was my freshman year of high school and i remember she was a big deal. It's too bad she faded away
