Personally I think about 13 songs on LG5 would be ideal with the songs not being too lengthy because its not too many and if she has a few successful hits off the album 13 songs would make it look like a more attractive album to buy as people will think they recognise a fair few songs rather than thinking I only recognise 2 or 3 out of 17 for example. If it's an album without a strong message and it's more just "good music" kind of chucked together, then I would like it to be as long as she can make it without making filler. If the album does well, re-release it with the songs that she likes but didn't make the first cut, as many as she wants...maybe even promote some of them as singles before the re-release, to boost album sales.
