I think I'm the only one who didn't like that performence.. The one at the "Adele Live in New York" was better and even the snippet during the carpool karaoke >>>>> this... I thought this performance was kinda "flat".. I still do love Adele, but her live performances this era aren't really "touching" me...

This era shows that even Adele is missing notes sometimes (Million Years Ago @ Today show, Hello the first performances, Grammys...)

I wouldn't agree with you, I think this performance on Ellen is really one of her best, it's so raw, her voice just fills the room and besides some minor mistakes, it's amazing.

You can't really take her performance at the Grammy's seriously since there was that problem with the mic and the strings, wasn't her fault.

And for example, Hello at X Factor comes to mind, omg flawless performance, she slayed every note!

I don't know about those other performances you mentioned but this years Grammys went wrong because the microphones in the piano fell on the strings and were jumping up and down. That is the sound of strings you here. There was no guitar. She was terrified through out the whole performance. The loud crash in the bigging of the performance is the microphone falling. I think they shut them off towards the middle but onstage she could probably hear all the weird sounds.

Well looks like half the people agree w me and half don't but she definitely has been missing some notes lately and the nature of her voice is much different than before

She hasn't lost it but it did in fact change after her surgery. She actually gained the ability to reach notes higher than her previous range and she also lost the raspy quality about her voice.

Yeah she still had some great performances, but @Ellen the sound itself might be the problem for me, but it's just that her voice in that performance doesn't have all the "dimensions" it normally has.. It's just a personal feeling...

For me her best vocals were at the NYC special, but that's it for the moment.. (and WWWY, that song fits her voice really well)

i don't get the hype with adele's voice. Gaga has a way better voice. Maybe Adele's sounds more warm and stable but Gaga can reach higher notes and has flexibility in her voice

so sad that she actually had to redo that performance just to prove she actually could do it. I mean, not sad for her just sad because that failed performance got blown up way too much out of proportion. It actually proves her career depends on her voice alone...

Definitely, she sings that song with a smile on her face tbh, very "easy" even though it's not an easy song to sing tbh..
