Eh, if she indeed breaks her Madgesty's record (which she wont :toofunny:); all Madonna has to do is announce a greatest hits tour and she'll claim her top touring spot again. Remember, talent always wins.

I mean.....she is a huge touring act.

But most of this show will be from previous albums because she is riding high off of her name, not Formation.

There is a difference between having huge tours because people like your current music and they want to see you perform your new album, and having huge numbers because people want to see you perform just the hits.

Beyonce has passed her prime in new material. People want to see Sasha Fierce and watch her tour be the hits.

When Beyonce does a tour with 90% new album and maybe three or four hits, we can talk, but Gaga still achieves massive tours while playing primarily and only her latest album. And each tour is wildly different and ambitious whereas Beyonce still has fallen into her Sasha Fierce persona with little to no experimentation or artistry.

It works commercially, but going to see Beyonce in 2016 is no different from seeing Beyonce in 2010....and for that reason I think Madonna and Gaga should receive far more credit...pulling in the same numbers as Beyonce or better...while also offering something wildly new and innovative and theatrical every time.

Everything you said is so, so wrong. North America hasn't even gotten a proper tour for her self-titled album. Ever since she released that album, she has only toured Europe and the VERY limited joint tour with Jay-Z. The self-titled album is one of the best albums of her career and now people who LOVE it will finally be able to hear it live. Plus, even if she is riding high off her "name", her tours are always incredibly executed and never the same.

And it doesn't even make sense for you to compare Gaga to Beyonce. And here's one example: Gaga and Bey were in Houston with shows the same week in July of 2014. Gaga had a unsold out show at the basketball arena, and Beyonce had a sold out show at the baseball stadium.

And as someone who has seen Beyonce 4 times since 2007, I can tell you it's been completely different each time. Don't be a hater.:flutter:

I'm not being a hater.

And as someone who also happens to have been at multiple Beyonce tours and a fan....I would never say her shows are wildly experimental or different each time.

I have said she is commercially successful. I'm not hating. I'm saying the truth. Different screen and lighting effects and adding/removing songs from the setlist is about the extent of variation on Beyonce's tours. She plays the same hits every time, and wears that same damn Sasha Fierce gladiator female look everytime.

To even suggest that Beyonce's tours are as experimental or varied as Madonna or Gaga is completely laughable.

Look at the Blonde Ambition tour and the Girly Show and the Drowned World Tour and the Confessions Tour and the Hard Candy, then MDNA, then Rebel Heart Tour. ALLLLLLL are wildly different, all include different hits. All primarily center around the newest album. And when Madonna does a past hit, she changes it up dramatically. Madonna has made Like a Virgin sound wildly different at least five times.

Then look at Gaga: she uses storylines alot in her tours, and the differences between The Fame Ball, The Monster Ball, The Born This Way Ball, and the ArtRave are completely different in visuals, sounds, aesthetic, storyline, and concept.

Beyonce mostly plays it safe on her tours, often rehashing old looks, imitating her music videos directly, and often imitating her former successes on a new tour if they worked on the last. When Beyonce does a tour surrounding an evil monster, a government alien force, or a goddess inspired electronic rave, then we can talk.

she's coming for Sweet and Sticky Tour's weave:rip:

Lol. Not going to happen. She isn't even 1/4 there yet. :toofunny:

Beyonce will do well in American and European markets early, getting her about halfway there.

But Beyonce is not as massive as Madonna or Gaga in Asian, middle eastern, or South American markets.

That's the real test. But I just don't see Japan, Dubai, or Buenos Aires stanning hard for Bey.

If it happens, I'm glad it's Beyonce who took Madge's weave... so deserving!

It's not gonna happen

Madonna isn't with that power anymore when she's promoting new muis, but if she did a GH Tour, helll to the yeah she could do stadiums anywhere again! People will always be there for Madonna past hits!
