venusfly 17,885
Just now, TheFame Monster said: She was broke at the end of 2009. She put all of her money into the production of the Monster Ball. Oh well that was right after she started picking up popularity and didn't have a massive amount of money, it hardly gives her a history of being bad at spending her money
OmgSum1Actually 3,041
But what if dr Luke didn't rape her? I can't with you all. Shameless selfpromo
Edonis 28,950
It's not her job to rescue artists sis. The sentiment would be amazing and wonderful for Kesha and for victims all over the world, but it really isn't wise or realistic.

Schwerk 7,246
No, but I'm sure she will support her in many ways. This is a bigger issue that will only change if more people like Gaga who are in music industry take a stand. They all have to unite and really make a difference. There are some many examples of cases like this, some involving sexual abuse some not, but every example is one too many. It's such a complex case. Gaga should not get too involved. I'd rather see another record label step up and buy her out, that makes a lot more sense. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

ShockPop 7,747
No. I would support the standard practice of another label buying out the contract though. It's likely that the value isn't steep due to her latest album performance and poor relationship with Sony.

PMKKARDASHiAN 8,570
No? Gaga isn't a savior to the industry. Is kesha family? Even a close friend?? Why would she or should she spend millions of dollars on a contract for someone she's only met casually?

LeoFameMonster 1,592
1: Gaga has the means of buying out the contract 2: The contract is nothing near hundreds of millions like some people on here are saying lol it is nearly impossible to estimate the value of the contract offhand. You have to look at past sales, and what future sales look like and the financial backlash sony will have from this whole mess devalues the contract (makes it cheaper). It is very possible to buy her out of the contract without spending over 20 or even 10 million. 3: Why would Gaga buy out Keshas contract to no benefit to herself? this makes no sense and Gaga is a very smart business woman. The backlash Gaga will face dropping that kind of money on kesha when that money can literally save millions of woman from far worse situations. Not devaluing keshas situation. 4: Realistically, another record label should buy her contract out or give someone else the money to buy her out of the contract on the condition she signs with them. This way they might be able to hide that another record label is buying her out from Sony. Cause Sony might then get greedy and try and hike up the price of her contract. If interscope lawyers go after sony on keshas defense then sony will surely loose millions of dollars off the value of her contract. If sony claims it is worth 20 million and Interscope says it is worth 5, they will meet in the middle. 5: Either way they need to go into mediation to figure out the value of her contract so there can be more options open for kesha. I just feel so sorry for this one woman facing the entire sony legal team ontop of what she may have gone through with Luke.

PaperIz 7,346
I had a dream she did this bbut i don't know if Gaga has the means to do this without putting her own brand her pressure. If a bunch of big names got together they could probably do it though Human generated art
