I'll admit, I'm not crazy about DopeGa. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It works when she sings the national anthem and "Imagine" but not so much when she sings TIHTY.

TIHTY would have sounded generic and basic without those vocals. I mean did you guys even see the Women in Music event performance? She utilized those vocals perfectly.

Just wait until the Oscars and watch until the whole Dolby Theater weeps and whimper like children with the TIHTY vocals.

The vocal performance she does on "Dope" is easily the worst on any album. I do not want to see it anywhere NEAR LG5.

However, I think she has found that perfect blend of it, and apart "Dope", NONE of the examples sound anything like that mess. The "Dope" voice is either a hit or a miss and as of late she's has done well in incorporating it. She has a great ability to channel soft and soulful now. Definitely more so than 2013.

You do realize right that she's just singing with good sustainable technique right?? You also must realize that the fact that she's singing like this means she'll be able to sing and release music for a LONGER time than most pop stars right?  Also if you didn't realize, this kind of singing is actually very difficult and she sounds beautiful.  You should just be thrilled that she still takes voice lessons and cares about technique unlike most I'm sure.

I actually really like her "Dope vocals". They're very distinctive.

I agree.  Who wants their fave to sound autotuned and unrecognizable?

DISAGREE I love her rock-influenced songs. She puts so much emotion into them, and they truly show off her talent as a vocalist.

Luv u Sum

I love it actually. Her deep strong voice really gives her power. Its not necessarily pretty/flattering but its powerful and she sounds great when she does. I would get annoyed if she used her high pretty voice all the time cause that's not who she is.
