Born To Slay 10,996
I'm doing a presentation for school on Lady Gaga and part of it is too talk about how she influenced and helped people who look up to her. So if u have personal stories or even little things that Gaga has done for you, please post them so I can use them for school.
Chic 20,830
She helped me leave social isolation, which further led to me coming out. Twice. Lol.
djBuffoon 12,098
Been a professional stage actor for 20+ years, but stage anxiety was something I've dealt with since I started. Was always a little afraid to let go, fully become the character, and go that extra mile. Gaga showed me what it looked and felt like to be uninhibited. Ever since "Paparazzi" at the VMAs, I've attacked every role and performance with everything that I have, and no longer afraid to get out of my own way as an artist. I'm now the actor I've always wanted to be.

Bonkers 29,022
About 6 years ago, I started to write music again. I had put my piano away and hadn't played for years. My songs used to suck because i was obsessed with making them 100% original. What Gaga made me realize was that it was actually "good" if music sounded sort of familiar - and that it's not because you're copying - it's because what flows naturally to you sounds the best. Melody and chords have a sort of gravity to them, and it's only when you allow it that your songs sound good! That's just one way - Gaga is constant source of inspiration. I'd say her biggest "message" is that discipline pays off. I just woke up, hope that makes sense. Mister Gaga 22,825
She helped me to accept and defend my personal tastes, not only about sexuality, but with all my life's aspects. Music, gestures, clothing, being passionate about something...i was kinda ashamed of myself in the past, but thanks to her, now i truly love who i am. With all my mistakes and things to correct, of course. But i love who i am. I'd say she passed me her bravery
arthurhmangum 4,408
She's the reason I'm gay, basically. Stressed, depressed, but well dressed.
Quasi 10,910
She's my muse. I don't feel inspired to make art on a daily basis but when I look for inspiration, I always end up coming back to her for it. Also, I highly admire her work ethic. It's something I hope to emulate one day. Whenever I feel as if I'm failing, I reflect on her struggle and her hustle that got her where she is now and it gives me hope and motivation to chug forward. Also her bops give me life. I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas.
