Bowie Tribute: Bad Camera Angles / Poor Stage Setup

Not really. You can't blame the camera angles for the performance. IF it was her idea, then the setup, the flow and the choreo should have been better. For all we know, the camera angles helped her performance.

People in the grammys just saw Gaga standing randomly while we watch where the main focus of a particular scene was.

They could have helped her performance more then.

Probably, but the stage setup itself was hard to dealt with. Hard to focus on what things to present. But I agree, could have been better. But still helped.

Pacify Him

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed! I study this in college so I know. They probably didn't plan ahead on setting up multiple cameras as they're supposed to on live events. But like, we didn't even see how she entered the cube other than walking to the right of the stage after playing the piano :neyde:

I agree that the camera angles didn't make viewing that great. The shot can make or break a televised performance, from a photographer/videographer standpoint.

I thought Gaga's actual performance was great, but the stage setup and the camera angles made it all look cheap apart from the introduction.

Just comparing the angles and camera motions between performances. The angles and shots in general for Gaga's performance are so unflattering. Compared to Taylor's, its shot so beautifully.

I also thought the band should have been moved because it really detracted from Intel's effects. If you look at this video, you can see swirling stars and galaxies effects but the effects used for the actual performance are hardly noticeable. Note 1:07 below

my thoughts exactly, I 100% agree
