SISTERV 3,887
Kanye West has repeatedly referred to himself as the most groundbreaking artist of our generation. Albeit, a creative individual, do you agree with his sentiment? What do you think he has changed/inspired/created that gives him this title? Do you think it's Gaga? Do you think it's someone else? HEARTHUNTER 7,611
Please sis, do not compare the comparable and the incomparable... it's embarassing There is no modern artist except her that has changed the game not once but ****ing twice. johnpe 916
I was never aware of Kanye's persona, creativity and everything around him. Sure, his music is OK but never understood how is he groundbreaking? Then I saw some more of him and found out he is narcissistic af. Nino 12
Graduation was incredibly popular, The Fame was incredibly popular 808s & Heartbreak was completely revolutionary with it's visuals and sound, The Fame Monster was revolutionary with it's visuals and sound My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is the greatest hip hop album ever, Born This Way is one of the greatest pop albums ever Kanye West was a trailblazer for LGBT+ support in the hip hop scene, Lady GaGa was a trailblazer for LGBT+ support in the pop music scene There's a reason they wanted to tour together people. They're very similar figures, just in different areas.
yASSsss 35,510
Gaga's Bowie tribute proves that she's the most groundbreaking artist of our generation. Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine

Gaga is grounded and humble, Kanye is not. Gaga knows what is conception, Kanye does not.

DrewStevens 5,249
Gaga is not the most groundbreaking artist ever but she is way more daring and eccentric than him. Her Paparazzi performance and the meat dress alone win over all his career. He is groundbreaking for the basics who live in the mainstream world. PunkTheFunk 124,722
They're both incredibly talented but I would have to say that Gaga has had a larger impact on culture. When people look back on our time's music in 30 or 40 years I strongly believe that Gaga will be one of the first people that come to mind, just like how we look back at the 1980s music scene and remember Madonna and Michael Jackson, or the 1960s and remember the Beatles.
