Gaga could tweet her support for Kesha. But it would have to be a statement that says NOTHING about Dr Luke. From the looks of things, his lawyers would sue Gaga for defamation without hesitation.

Gaga has said 1000 times how the government should not decide if it happened or if it didn't happen you. 

I wish Gaga would sign the petition of letting Kesha free, I mean she has nothing to lose, also she has a huge following so that would even get more people to sign it. Dr.Puke's Team is really small and she's with Universal and not Sony.

As much as I'm sure that Gaga is supporting Kesha, there is so much more going on there than we could imagine. This is more than a music contract, there's politics and big people involved that don't just get sued. Sadly.

The problem is that you can't actually prove anything when it's a rape. You could have a chance if a doctor can testify for it, right after it happens. But seriously, who does that ? A rape can completely destroy who you are. You need time to tell what happened. 

So please, no more "Luke is innocent until he is proven guilty". No one except those who know the truth can judge it. Not me, not you. NO ONE.  It can't be proven. 

And I don't think Ke$ha is broken and crying so she can buzz. So please stop it. This is ridiculous. 

 

And no, Gaga should not talk about that on twitter. Not officially at least.

I'm sorry but why? Kesha was never supportive of Gaga in any way and her lawyer was using Gaga's name for publicity out of a RAPE CASE. I feel extremely sorry for her and i'm sure Gaga feels the same way but she can reach her out instead of doing it in a publicity way, it's more tasteful and honest.

It's not that simple. Gaga is a free spirit, but this might be bigger than her.

She should do it privately, maybe she did, who knows? But Interscope probably wouldn't allow such a thing, because Sony is a huge label, this is a fight that's very painful and sensitive...

But I don't think she is even suing him that way. She just wants to get out of contract cause she doesn't want to work with such a guy cause she doesn't feel safe. Luke doesn't have anything to lose even if he isn't guilty

If found guilty of rape Luke will be sentenced regardless.

She should but won't. It is what it is. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from her collab with R-Kelly but it's not like sending well wishes to Kesha will change that. I think women should stick together -- especially two that can relate so profoundly -- but I know that's not career savvy in any way. My heart breaks for both victims.

I feel like Gaga doesn't want to severe ties with working with them in future so she won't get involved. It's sort of why I feel she didn't say anything about the black lives matter movement, so she didn't get involved in any political debates etc

Innocent until proven guilty is how our system works and for good reason, we can't just take people's word for it.
