I think ARTPOP was the era of missed opportunities, so no, I don't agree.

Yh I think that ARTPOP was great she should of maybe released more singles.

And released them in a better way some people were confused as to whether aura was the second single or Venus or Do what u want

I think the best single choices would have been

lead single Fashion

2nd single MANiCURE

3rd single Applause

4th single Do What U Want

Sorry, but I just adore ARTPOP. I love it, and I always will. I don't see it as part of her career trajectory (perhaps commercially, but certainly not musically) - I think what she delivered was entirely left-wing, exciting and something truly different. Little Monsters are very quick to undermine ARTPOP, but why? I think it's solely because of it's poor acclaim. This was a record made for us, the fans: something different, for the different. That is my belief, anyway.

I don't like ARTPOP because I don't like EDM. Its music was good, but nowhere near BTW or TFM. It's not all about sales. If it was indeed a fantastic album I would probably like it no matter what. Ultraviolence sold like 1m yet it's my favourite album next to BTW.

ARTPOP wasn't that good.. That's all

If the G.U.Y video didn't have you convinced that indeed ARTPOP was a good lesson at the end of the day, then I don't know what will. + all the projects that followed after artRAVE. Gaga has grown so much, she is like the opposite of what she was during 2012-2014.

As much as I love ARTPOP (the album that made me a stan) I have to admit that it's not the material with which you stay for long in the music industry and make history/leave a footprint, etc. I loved the concept and all, enjoyed her lighthearted idea of having fun with her music while expressing her passion and pain, but looking at her from current standpoint - she seems way too off-reality. Maybe for a moment she almost lost it back then. Fame, weed, pressure from EVERYWHERE, her hip injury. The amount of stress is unbelievable so we must never blame her cause with all that she still churned out a good album whose potential and ideas were failed by external factors. And Gaga wasn't in the right state of mind to deal with herself not to mention all these people coming at her and giving her the cold shoulder. At the end of the day, despite even fans screaming MESS and FLOP everywhere, ARTPOP's pros outweigh the cons. Gaga took care of the scum around her and got her career into her own hands. For a woman in the music industry that's one of the biggest accomlishments. And we've witnessed some great results from it all already. :flutter:

I think ARTPOP was great so not work out for the better. It was good to start with. I worry that the negativity towards ARTPOP will make LG5 rubbish (although that remains to be seen and I have faith that Gaga still believes in ARTPOP and will do something amazing) and we have lost with Gaga doing piles of covers instead of her own music.
