atemybrain 2,077
'The Fame' Era: I fell in LOVE with 'Just Dance' the first time I heard it. I became an immediate fan. (I was literally 6 years old. Time flies. Wow!) Then 'Poker Face' came out and I was like ok. This girl knows what she is doing. (I was 7 by then.) I didn't buy 'The Fame' when it first came out. (I will never know why.) I was spending the night with my aunt, and she recorded the Ellen performance of PF. I got her to take me straight to Walmart to buy a copy of this girl's album. I literally died when I first heard the whole thing. Then, Gaga performed at the 2009 VMA's. I was in my other aunt's condo in Orlando, and we were getting ready to go to the Mickey's Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. I literally made everyone wait until she performed before we could leave. (It prob pissed them off. Haha.) But that performance solidified me at a stan. 'The Fame Monster' Era: I remember I was riding to football practice and for some reason I thought P!NK's 'Funhouse' was coming on. I have no idea why. (I was 8 now.) But then it said Gaga ooh la la and I was like wait. No, it can't be. And then I started freaking out. That's when the praise began. I had never heard a song that was just that amazing before this one. Then the album came out and my mom got it for me for Christmas and I made everyone listen to it all morning. This is when I started watching every single one of her performances on youtube. 'Born This Way' Era: I was sitting at my grandma's house and listening to the radio on the computer. They said "Lady Gaga's new song BTW is out now on youtube." I started freaking out as usual. (I was 9 now.) Then, she performed at the Grammys and the video came out, and I was just floored. How I wish she could've made it to Atlanta for the BTWB. 'ARTPOP' Era: (This is the era when I really started watchino chart positions.) I remember I was sitting in the car with my aunt, riding to my great-grandmother's house, and Gaga's voice came on the radio. (I was 12 now.) She hadn't been played on the Atlanta or Chattanooga radio stations for a while, so I was excited regardless of what the song was. But then I heard 808 drums and I was like this isn't an old song! Omg it's her new one!!! My aunt and I started jamming out. It was great. Applause! Then, when DWUW came out, my mom and I jammed out in the living room. I stayed up until midnight when ARTPOP was released so I could buy it. It's an amazing album, but not as good as her formers. Then, the best day of my life happened. My mom and I went to the Artrave in Atlanta!!! I cried when she came out from under the stage. I had waited so long to see this woman live. It was incredible. 'Cheek to Cheek' Era: I loved C2C. I thought Gaga and Tony did an amazing job on it. I'm 14 now. I'll be 15 in June. Man, time flies. I love Gaga so much, and I'm ready for LG5!!!
