But Gaga and Bobby both said multiple times that new pop material would be out this year. This fanbase is so pessimistic sometimes. If Gaga says she's writing her album,

"Oh my god. WRITING!!!! LG5 2019."

If she says she's working with a producer, fans jump to the worst and assume that LG5 is still in the recording process, when they could be putting the finishing touches on a song or collaborating for a different project. Of course none of us know when the album will come out, but I expect new music before 2017, and I'm guessing the lead single will be out in March.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, Promo doesn't mean that the album is ready! You cannot accelerate the process of making an album, and if it's not ready then it's just not ready. And there's nothing that can be done about it.

She may appear on the Grammys and Oscars and everything but the album creation process is an entirely different thing, and has nothing to do with the 'perfect time'. If she hasn't finished it then too bad. The album will not come out until it's ready.

Unless something out of the ordinary happens, the plans are for a 2016 release. 

Of course, there aren't really any one hundred per cent gaurantees in life, so something could always change.

She's been working on it since late 2014, which is about the same amount of time she was working on Born This Way for, so it should be getting close to finished (70-80%). Plus she confirmed it herself. Unless she breaks her other hip while feeding her chickens it WILL come out this year.

Why are you guys acting like she can't release one or two singles before releasing the album? That saves her months to put the final touches on the rest of the album. She's releasing new music this year. I predict it'll be April.

Actually, she did that same thing before when she released 3 singles in the Born This Way era BEFORE the album was released.
