Both have worked as stylists for Gaga and launched their own fashion brands. Who has done a better job styling Gaga and whose fashion line do you like better?

Nicola Formichetti: Stylist from 2009-2013, fashion line: Nicopanda

Brandon Maxwell: stylist from 2013-present, fashion line: Brandon Maxwell

Bonus question: who would you rather? :stalkga:

Brandon creates super elegant styles .

Nicola creates super awesome styles.

Both of them should work with Gaga and make magic happen for LG5.

Nicola is definitely more "avant-garde" and Brandon is definitely more elegant...to me Nicola makes clothes that ppl like to look at and Brandon makes clothes ppl like to wear, which means they cater to very different kinds of ppl...I lean towards Brandon's more sober style..

Now, to the real question here, do I wish Brandon would bottom for me? Definitely...

I thought Nicola was a much better stylist. Everything was innovative, tailored to perfection, polished, matched perfectly. Nothing ever looked "off" to me. I find Brandon's styling can look a little sloppy, boring and I can almost find something that I would fix. Brandon did have a few flawless moments though.

I like Brandon's line much better. It is sophisticated, modern, not too crazy but still has playful moments. Nicola's line is like old lady + baby doll + urban.. and I'm not really feeling it.

I always had this thoughts that with Nicola everything was clearly perfect and somehow Iconic, when with Brandon it's sometimes hit or miss. Guess he's just learning.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Nicola for Gaga, Brandon for Lady. I think they both understand facets of her look and other facets not so much. We saw during the ARTPOP era Maxwell's struggle with avant-garde/eccentric looks. He had more misses. Similarly, I believe Formichetti only truly excelled when it came to less casual wear. I wish she'd use both respectively. She recently said that Brandon sees her as a feminine woman and has learned to embrace that with him despite preferring a more ambiguously gendered look personally, so, it's obvious he's good at Gaga looking pretty or lovely, but I don't know if he'll be able to serve up iconic looks in any other aspect. :green: I have no problem with her looking beautiful but once Gaga wakes up, he'll have to switch things up and not style her like it's still Oscars season, and as I said, I don't believe that's his strong point. Nicola is naturally more creative and isn't afraid to push boundaries. I also think he has a better grasp on DarkGa.

Oh, and, I prefer Brandon's this time around but felt Nicopanda was great last season!
