adele has the best of both worlds lmao but gaga i think the bulk will be albums.

I just need the first single to be massive, album drops and is a big success, and the rest I'm ok with mediocre singles

If she has a big album, singles will not do as well.

If she has big singles, the album will be boosted by it.

You're asking if we want the fame or born this way.

exactly what i was thinking, 2nd one for sure !

I think that it would be better for GaGa to have numerous big singles to get her back on radios regularly if you look at GaGa's big singles i don't know where these songs peaked in America by the way but this is where they peaked in the UK

2009: Just Dance #1 3weeks

2009:Poker Face #1 3 weeks

2009: Lovegame #15

2009: Paparazzi #4

2010: Bad Romance #1 2weeks

2010: Telephone #1 2 weeks

2010: Alejandro #7

2011: Born This Way #3

2011: Judas #8

2011: Edge Of Glory #6

2011:Marry The Night #16

2011: You and i #21

2013: Applause #5

2013: Do What U Want #9

So it has been over 2 years since Gaga's last big hit worldwide its important she has some big singles in this era to get more attention from the gp again which will automatically get her album sales up.

Not really.

The Fame sold so much because of the singles.

The Fame Monster sold so much because of the singles.

Born This Way was her first big debut open, which to many was a disappointment because of the choice of singles. (People wanted Scheibe, Government Hooker, and Bloody Mary more than TEOG, Y+I, and MTN...not to mention the let down of the edge of glory and Judas' early leak)

ARTPOP sold low albums but spawned a long lasting single Applause and a sleeper single DWUW. The era dissolved after Gaga failed to deliver singles.

Obviously Gaga's albums do well when her singles and music videos do well first.

Hmmmm but BTW singles did well....I think BTW is great example of a great album and great music videos(singles).

COME ON GAYS!!

People remember artists for their hit singles, less so the album they came from. Unless the album is a perfect cohesive piece which really connects with most - e.g. Thriller (one example where people appreciate and note both the album and singles as big hits), then I see this era being more about interscope getting Gaga back to a point where she's able to release successful top #5 hits in multiple markets which will drive the album sales in the future.

Singles are much more important. I could care less about the album sales. This time around I want to hear her singles on the radio, after all, it's what the GP knows. It gets her talked about more...
