One has gone straight to #2. Wether someone hacked this poll or the poll had just reached Asian consciousness, I don't know, because there's been a sudden influx in Asian candidates into the top 15. Adele has fallen down to #12. That's how bad it is. I only know two people in the top ten. If Adele's fallen to #12, with over 30,000 people saying she's not influential, that makes me feel so much better. Particularly as she's only two places above Gaga (and she'll probably end up only one space ahead of her by the time this vote closes). If someone who's as loved, adored, universial and non offensive as Adele has more "no" votes than Gaga and hasn't even scraped into the top ten, I believe Gaga's chances of winding up on this list are so much higher. Remember, regardless of where she ends up, it's still the decision of Time as to whether she'll be in the magazine or not. They gave her crazy promotion when she was first put on the list in 2010 (she even got on the cover), she didn't make the shortlist in 2011 (they tend not to place the same celebrity in two consecutive years), so she does stand a chance this year. Tip for Time: never put candidates who are hackers on your influential polls. You don't have to be Einstein to work out what's going to happen. Gaga got the second highest votes out of all the singers included on the poll: over 51,000 votes in just over a week. That's got to count for something.
