judxs 762 Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Amidst all of this discussion about the Bowie tribute, it made me think about the first time I ever saw Gaga perform live. It was at the Brit Awards 2009 where she sang Dusty Springfield's part in What Have I Done To Deserve This with the Pet Shop Boys. When I first heard Just Dance a few months before I didn't think much of it and I didn't really give her a chance but this performance changed everything for me and really made me realise she was one to look out for. (shout out to the tea cup outfit that I absolutely adore) The section with Gaga starts at 5:03, but you should watch it all....Pet Shop Boys are amazing. What was the first performance you ever saw? I never had a favorite singer/artist and music was not my thing. I like various songs and dont care about the artist but that performance made me love her. Literally everybody was talking about it for months. People would come up to me at school and tell me because I was the 'known Gaga fan' haha. I was in 8the grade PE class and these two chick's next to me were freaking out over gaga. I didn't get it at all then lol, I was also somewhat anti pop music for my younger teenage years. I started liking her when I heard poker face and love game. Then that performance made me a fan. Bad romance made me fall for her.
