Gaga's praise lacks longevity somehow

This is not negativity or something that I try to bash Gaga! You can agree, like or comment or just close this thread.

I don't think that Gaga isn't getting any praise. I've also seen the news today just like you. But the problem is that this praise which she gets, doesn't have any kind of longevity in GP's mind. I mean, OK she does a performance people wows at her, for just couple of days we hear about it in news and some posts on social media. But what after that?! Like she disappears from everywhere. GP forgets her existence immediately, at that point that every time she proves herself with those amazing vocals they are like "I thought she gonna ruin it but I was blown away! Good job Gaga", "I didn't know that she can sing", "Wait what? She can sing?" (I heard this a couple of times from same people who listened to the Oscar Performance and they totally forget it and when they heard her again on Super bowl they were like "she can sing", I am like "please die " ). It's like they just don't care about her on a daily basis but when she appears somewhere first they tend to be 'meh, not that weirdo again, she gonna suck' then they are blown away. I mean why is it hard to be consistent?! I STILL (!) hear hermaphrodite jokes, LIKE BITCH PLEASE YOU REMEMBER THOSE ****ING NEWS FROM 2009 BUT YOU REFUSE TO REMEMBER OTHER SLAYAGES? It's sad really, Gaga doesn't deserve this. Rihanna is flopping very hard rn, but believe me in my country she is still listened and talked about , like she can stay in silence for years and people still wows and think that she is legendary (one of my friends said that she is miles better than Gaga both vocal-wise and music-wise ).

Why people are so bigoted? Why loving or stanning for Gaga has been turned into a guilty pleasure (one second they stan her, then suddenly they are disgusted)?!

I feel like the majority of people with lives outside of the stan world will at least remember that she can sing. If not, and they comment about it, they'll be corrected swiftly.

Tbh, it's because this year Grammy is a met and boring. The other praises, I think it have very good longevity considering she have no new music to constantly remind people about it.

I can't with the pessimistic threads. What do you want people do? sign a fan contract? her image is way better than a year before, she's receiving way more attention, but the people will go on with their lives till she release new music and then they will judge.

This fanbase was so tortured during ARTPOP that we moan with anything that is not standing ovations and universal praise in al media, and social media. 

Life and showbiz doesn't work that way.

Nah. Disagree. Gaga did the right thing by making C2C. Young people are fickle and get sick of their favourites really quickly. There is no more loyalty left. Gaga is maturing as an artist and it is having a double effect: older fans like and respect her for honouring and celebrating her influences/older artists/legends, whilst younger audiences see her as a role model because of her inability and avoidance to fit into any particular mould ("the pretty one", "the cool one", "the good girl", "the bad girl" etc). Unlike, say for example, Rihanna, who clearly has stated that she is not a role model, or Taylor Swift, who has cultivated a persona of being "little miss perfect". With Gaga, because she rose to the top so quickly based on her changing image, people thought that it was all an act. But now that they know that she is massively talented, they accept her as being avant garde, as an envelope pusher, and so are anticipating her next move. They know that at the very least, no matter what, Gaga will never be boring or deliver a meh performance.
