Do you think they ****ed up some of the visuals during the night, or do you think Gaga decided to save the best tech for her own ****? (the whole change of plans, etc.) I just feel like this would all be such a waste if she doesn't use this stuff shown in promos, but then again can Intel realistically keep transporting all this tech just for Gaga? (Also, I personally really enjoyed the performance - I feel like it would have been epic live. Brava, Gaga!) Come on, make me proud you bad kids. SCREAM! I feel like Gaga did a good job for Bowie. However the post was more about the curiosity of the future, I didn't mean any harm! Come on, make me proud you bad kids. SCREAM! Throw it to the pits like Volantis Queen It's true that face mapping has been around for quite some time now, but as far as I'm aware it has never been used in a live performance like the one we saw last night. I don't think it's completely revolutionary for the entire 'pop world' (which is hella boring anyway) but it IS revolutionary for Gaga's own line of work. She has always been obsessed with this idea of transformation and change as part of the performance—the ultimate example being 2013 VMA's— and this mapping technology opens an incredibly wide range of possibilities within this particular aspect of Gaga's performance art. I can totally see her being incredibly excited at the prospect of being able to change completely in seconds and in front of a live audience. That's what Gaga has always wanted to do.
