How how HOW can anyone hate this performance???? It's about Bowie and not her. Her singing was perfect, as was the entire performance and her dancing. If you're not a Bowie fan then whatever, but respect the homage or gracefully **** off.

i think i would've loved it more if she sang less songs, and made them a little longer. some of the transitions were kinda awkward imo. I loved the outfits, hair, visuals, vocals, technology though

Wasn't too happy with it at first, but after a few times watching it again it's starting to grow on me :')

I know right. Gaga was in the best shape that she's ever been for such a demanding performance, and the energy of the performance was exactly what a tribute to Bowie needed. My fear before the performance was that the technology overshadowed the tribute, but the way they used it now was in perfect balance.

Expectations were way too high for a lot of fans, but I truly don't understand how that even happened because I thought people would've learned from past experience to not overhype themselves :smh:. But I think that - once the initial "disappointment" blows over (although I'm appalled to even use that word in regards to this performance, because it was truly amazing), the fanbase will recognize that this was one of the best performances of her career so far.

Frankly, I love the performance. I feel like only LMs are hating it. Could have smthing to do with the tech part I guess. But imho, what kind of tech are you guys expecting??? Be realistic. The performance is intense, and gaga did a great job in playing bowie, THIS IS A TRIBUTE TO BOWIE

I think what kinda bummed me (even though I loved it) is that The Next Day and BlackStar were ignored. I know she couldn't cover everything, it is just that I am so close to those albums that it would've been perfect.

so they put that extra bit at the beginning for people who didn't quite understand the intel part...fair enough.  I'll blame the director for showing the performance from wrong angles.:noparty:

It wasn't bad at all, but for me personally too many songs in too short time - it felt so rushed to, just everything.

Exactly I didn't overhype myself too and that's why I am fine with this performance

The performance slayed. There was no new technology at all except a projector on her face that kept moving, a twerking piano and glowing Pom-poms on  her wrists
